Távora-Varosa

DOC area in Portugal, which was merged in 1998 in the north of the Beiras region from the former two IPR areas Encostas da Nave and Varosa. The red, rosé and white wines are made from the varieties Alvarelhão, Bical, Castelão, Cerceal Branco, Chardonnay, Folgasão, Gouveio, Malvasia Fina, Mourisco Tinto, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional.
