This training form (Eng. Tatura trellis or grid) was developed at the Australia research station Tatura (Victoria). It can be classified into the two groups espalier training and cordon. The support structure has a V-shape that opens upwards (hence also called the "V-system"). In the middle of a row of vines, the canopies of the neighboring rows inclined at 60° meet and form a canopy.

Tatura Trellis training: 1 = shoots, 2 = grape, 3 = leaf care, 4 = 60° inclination
The system yields high yield. A potential disadvantage is its poor suitability for mechanization, which is why it is not of great significance. The Lyra training developed in France is fundamentally very similar, just a bit smaller.
