Tanzer Stephen

The US-American and author Stephen Tanzer has been publisher and editor-in-chief of the bimonthly magazine "International Wine Cellar" since 1985. It is published in all 50 states and over 30 other countries and was the first US wine magazine to be translated into French and Japanese. There is also a website of the same name with a wine search database. In 2006 Tanzer published "The Wine Access Buyer's Guide", a the best wines and producers worldwide. Every year, over 10,000 wines from the most important wine-growing countries are tasted. The tasting team includes Ian D'Agata, Josh Raynolds and Joel B. Payne. A regular column appears in the "Food & Wine Magazine". He is also the author of the 1998 and 1999 issues of "Food and Wine Magazine's Official Wine Guide". In February 2010 the e-zine portal (Internet portal) "Winophilia" was launched. In November 2014, wine critic Antonio and Stephen Tanzer announced that their combined 180,000 wine reviews would be brought together and jointly operated on Galloni's Vinous Internet platform with the aim of creating a global multimedia wine platform.
