Tămâioasă Românească

The white grape variety originates from Romania. Synonyms Busuioacă de Moldova and Tamîioasa Romaneasca. For a long time it was considered a variety or genetically identical to the Muscat Blanc variety. In the VIVC catalogue, it is listed as a synonym for the Muscat Blanc variety. Two independent varieties named Tămâioasă Bela (parentage unknown) and Tămâioasă Bucuresti (according to DNA analysis Muscat Bl anc x unknown father variety) are also listed there with the synonym Tămâioasă Românească. No stocks were recorded in Tămâioasă Românească in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
