The winery is located in the municipality of Montalcino (province of Siena) in the Italian region of Tuscany. It was founded in 1981 by Pierluigi Talenti. The vineyards cover 22 hectares and are planted with the red wine varieties Sangiovese (self-selected clone), Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The vineyards are cultivated according to the rules of integrated p est management. The yield is limited to a maximum of 60 hl/ha. Only physiologically ripe grapes are processed by selective manual harvesting in several passes. By avoiding animal products in the winemaking process, the wines are vegan.
