Sutcliffe Serena

The British wine author Serena Sutcliffe M.W. (*1945) is considered the world's leading authority on the wine sector and is also a profound wine critic. She is married to the wine author David Peppercorn M.W., who, like her, holds the coveted title of Master of Wine. They were the very first MW couple, she the only second MW wife. Sutcliffe ran the International Wine Department at the famous Sotheby's Auction House, directed the auctions held around the world and was named Honorary Chairman of Sotheby's Wine. She writes regularly for many international publications and is a regular interview partner, lecturer and knowledge provider on TV shows in Europe, the USA and Asia. Her standard work "The Wines of Burgundy" with 600 producers and their wines described therein was published in 2005 in already 8th edition.
