Supp Eckhard

The German wine journalist, photographer, author and wine critic Dr. Eckhard Supp (*1950) studied history, philosophy, sociology and politics at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-University in Frankfurt/Main from 1969 to 1975. He was instrumental in the compilation of the index volume of the Hegel-Gesamtausgabe at Suhrkamp-Verlag. From 1977 to 1984 he lived and worked as a freelance journalist and photographer in Paris, and in this context he made long reportage trips to many countries around the world. Since 1986, wine has been the focus of his work, with collaboration with magazines and publishers such as Vinum, Gambero Rosso, Weinwirtschaft Markt and collaboration with wine guides (Vini d'Italia, Slow Food).
