In the VIVC catalogue, a total of 13 grape varieties are listed with the name Summerland followed by a number. These are interspecific new varieties created in Canada with different cultivars. In 2016, 0.1 hectares of vineyards were designated under Summerland (Kym Anderson). However, it is unclear which variety is involved.
