Sultana Moscata

The white grape variety is a new variety between Zibibbo(Muscat d'Alexandrie) x Sultana(Sultana). Synonyms are Apyrena, I. P. 75, Pirovano 75, Sultana Moschata, Sultanina Muscatnaya and Sultanine Musqée. The cross was made in Italy in 1913 at the Research Centre in Rome by the Italian breeder Alberto Piròvano (1884-1973). The variety was a cross between the four new varieties Danuta, Emerald Seedless, Generosa and Ruby Seedless. In 2016 no stocks were recorded (statistics Kym Anderson).
