The white grape variety (the name means "fertile") is a new variety between Madeleine Royale x Kövidinka. The crossing was made by Alexander Wanner in Laquenexy in France-Lorraine. Synonyms are Abondant Blanc, Abundante, Wanner and Wannerrebe. This very high yielding variety is grown in Alsace and Lorraine. In 2016, however, less than one hectare was registered in France (statistics Kym Anderson).
