Strawberry Vine

Locally used name for a wine produced from the species Vitis labrusca (synonyms Fox Grape, Strawberry Vine, Skunk Grape) with typical foxy such as Americano (Switzerland), which is also called "strawberry" as well as Fragolino (Northern Italy). Strawberry Grape is a synonym for the Isabella variety. See also under strawberry aroma.
