The traditional winery is located in the municipality of Gumpoldskirchen in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Thermenregion. It has been family-owned since 1781. A wine tavern is attached. The winery is run by Klaus and Elisabeth Straitz. The vineyards cover five hectares of vineyards in the Aslatz, Badenweger, Eichkogel, Grimmling, Katzbühel, Rasslerin, Schwaben, Steinfeld and Thallinger vineyards. They are 60% planted with the white wine varieties Zierfandler, Rotgipfler, Welschriesling, Riesling, Neuburger and Grüner Veltliner, and 40% with the red wine varieties Blauer Portugieser, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
