The Martha & Franz Stopfer winery is located in the municipality of Minichhofen (Ravelsbach) in the south-west of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. Attached to it is the Buschenschank "Stopfer-Keller". The vineyards cover seven hectares of vines on predominantly loess soils. Two thirds of the vineyards are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Riesling, Rivaner, Sämling 88, Pinot Blanc and Muskat Ottonel, and one third with the red varieties Blauburger, Blauer Portugieser, St. Laurent and Zweigelt. Only hand-picked, healthy grapes are processed. The white wines are predominantly dry, the red wines are matured in traditional wooden barrels or in barriques. The premium wines include the "Heldenberger Kreisgrabenweine" of Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Zweigelt, the asparagus wine ,"MOON" (Blauburger Spätlese harvested at full moon) and "Zweigelt Barrique". Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, distillates (fruit, pomace and grape brandies) and liqueurs are also produced. The winery is a member of the Weinviertel Wine Route.
