The Josef Störrlein winery is located in the municipality of Randersacker (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The business was taken over by Armin and Ruth Störrlein from their parents in the 1960s. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Marsberg and Sonnenstuhl. They are planted with the varieties Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Black Riesling, Bacchus, Domina, Scheurebe and Cabernet Sauvignon. Natural viticulture is consistently practised. The wines are mostly matured traditionally in large wooden barrels, but also in steel tanks and barriques. They are vinified in the lines Edition Christiane (youthful, fruity wines), Franken Tradition (grapes from single vineyard sites), TRIAS (Grosse Gewächse) and Edelsüße Weine. Sparkling wine is also produced. The winery is a member of the VDP and one of the five Franconian TRIAS wineries.
