The winery is located in the municipality of Bürgstadt (Mainviereck area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The domicile is the former inn built in 1901. Attached is the estate tavern of the same name "Zum Löwen" (open 2 times a year). The farm is run by Gerhard and Helga Stich. The vineyards cover 8.5 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard sites Centgrafenberg (Bürgstadt) and Krone (Prichsenstadt). They are planted with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir and Black Riesling, as well as with the white wine varieties Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Riesling, Bacchus, Kerner, Pinot Blanc and Gewürztraminer. The wines are marketed in the Frank & Frei, Lagenweine and Löwenweine lines. The winery is a member of the Frank & Frei winegrowers' association.
