single vineyard in the municipality of Zwingenberg in the German wine-growing region of Hessische Bergstrasse. The vineyard, which faces west to southwest at an altitude of 120 to 265 metres above sea level with a slope of 10 to 40%, covers more than five hectares of vineyards on medium-textured loess loam soils with gravel and a low lime content. Here, mainly the white wine varieties Riesling, Silvaner and Müller-Thurgau are cultivated. Members of the Bergsträßer Winzervereinigung as well as the Griesel & Compagnie and Simon-Bürkle wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
