Stangl

Vineyard or site in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal in the municipalities of Zöbing (cadastral municipality of Langenlois) and Straß im Straßertale. The south-facing Kesselllage is a continuation of the Wechselberg vineyard. The soil consists of loess and loam, as well as sandy, lime-free clay in various forms, which is coloured yellow-brown by iron compounds. Mainly Grüner Veltliner is cultivated here, as well as Roter Veltliner, among others. The wineries Eichinger Birgit, Kirchmayr Andreas, Topf Johann, Waldschütz Reinhard and Weixelbaum Heinz, for example, have shares in the vineyard.
