Stamperl

Common name in Austria and Bavaria (Germany) for a small glass drinking vessel for schnapps and liqueur. It usually has a slightly conical or cylindrical shape. The small capacity of about 0.2 l makes it easy to empty the glass in one go. See also under Spirits Glasses and Spirits.
