Sporen

One of the Alsace (Haut-Rhin) sites classified as Grand Cru within the Alsace Grand Cru appellation. It was already mentioned in 1432. The vineyards cover 24 hectares of vineyards on stony clayey-marly soil in the commune of Riquewihr. Above all, the Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and Riesling varieties are cultivated. Well-known producers are Domaine Dopff au Moulin, Ernest Horcher et Fils, Hugel et Fils (but does not mention Grand Cru), Roger Jung, Mittnacht-Klack, CV Ribeauvillé and Bernard Schwach.
