Sonnhohle

single vineyard in the municipality of Heitersheim (Markgräflerland area) in the German wine-growing region of Baden. The south-facing vineyard with a 20% slope covers seven hectares of vines. The soil consists of loess and clayey loam. Burgundy, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc varieties are cultivated here. The Zähringer Wilhelm winery, for example, has a share in the site.

There are other single vineyards called Sonnhohle in the Baden municipalities of Bad Bellingen / Hertingen, Binzen, Efringen-Kirchen / Egringen, Rümmingen, Schallbach and Weil / Ötlingen; as well as one called Sonnhole in the Baden municipality of Müllheim / Britzingen.
