Siegl Viktor

Siegl Viktor The Austrian wine book author and wine critic Dr. Viktor Siegl (*1952) studied law at the University of Vienna and then worked in the federal service from 1978. Since 1983, he has published numerous articles on wine and wine culture, including in the magazines Alles über Wein and Vinaria.

Together with Prof. Rudolf Steurer (1924-2013) the work "Österreichischer Weinführer" (Austrian Wine Guide) with 6,650 addresses and 2,550 descriptions of wineries was published in 2000. With the same co-author, the publication of the periodic work "The best wines of Austria" has been carried out since 1997, based on the results of the most important national and international competitions. With Dr. Johann Werfring, "Das Österreichische Wein Koch Buch" was published in 2009.
