The red grape variety is a new cross between Chaouch Blanc (Çavuş) x Kecskecsecsu Piros (Kokur Krasnyi). The cross was made in Portugal by the private breeder Franco Soares. It is an all-female grape variety. The variety was a parent in the two new varieties Blanc d'Ambre and Milton. It is mainly used as table grape. No stock was reported in 2016 (Statsitik Kym Anderson).
