Frequent designation or part of the name of vineyards in Austria. It refers to newly planted vineyards.
The vineyard is located in the Kastastral parish of Liesing in the 23rd district of Liesing in the south-west of Vienna(Austria). It belongs to the Großlage Maurerberg. The vineyard was classified as 1 ÖTW (Erste Lage der Traditionsweingüter Österreich) by the WienWein winegrowers' association. The south-facing vineyards with a slope of 2 to 17 degrees cover 11 hectares at 250 to 300 metres above sea level on shell limestone soils. The microclimate is characterised by many hours of sunshine as well as cool temperatures at night and moisture from the neighbouring Vienna Woods. Around half of the vineyard is planted with the typical varieties for the Wiener Gemischter Satz wine and the other half with Riesling.
