The winery is located in the municipality of Korb (Remstal-Stuttgart area) in the German wine-growing region of Württemberg. It was built up by Albrecht and Andrea Schwegler from the early 1990s. After practical stays at wineries in Germany, Switzerland, California and New Zealand, the next generation, Aaron Schwegler and his wife Julia, joined the business in 2009. Since then, white wines have also been produced. The vineyards cover 12 hectares of vineyards in individual locations in the communities of Endersbach, Großheppach, Korb and Schnait. They are planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Lemberger (Blaufränkisch), Trollinger (Schiava Grossa), Syrah, Regent and Cabertin, as well as the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Gris. The vineyards are cultivated close to nature, with no artificial fertilisers or conventional pesticides. The vineyards have been cultivated according to the guidelines of organic (ecological) viticulture since the end of the 1980s, although certification was only applied for with the 2019 vintage.
