The winery is located in the municipality of Kitzeck in the Austrian wine-growing region of Southern Styria. A "Buschenschank" is connected. The family business, which has been in existence since 1985, is managed by Hans Schwarz (cellar), and son Werner (vineyards). The vineyards cover nine hectares of vineyards, which are planted with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Morillon. Among the premium wines are for example the classic wines (Welschriesling, Morillon, Pinot Blanc), Sauvignon Wunsum and Chardonnay Pistor. Bottled Burgundy sparkling wine is also produced. The winery is a member of the quality association "Steirische Hoheit".
