Producer description of "Weingut Albert Schwaab"
The winery is located in the municipality of Erden (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region of Mosel. It is managed by Edgar Schwaab. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Bußlay and Treppchen (Erden). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Kerner, Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Blanc, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. In years with suitable weather conditions, an ice wine is also pressed. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, sparkling wines, grape juices, noble brandies (marc, yeast, wine, fruit) and liqueurs are also produced.
