The traditional winery is located in the Burgenland community of Deutsch-Schützen in the Austrian DAC area of Eisenberg. It has been in operation since 1816 and is now in its sixth family generation. Felix Körper was a pioneer for excellent red wine quality and already in 1952 he bottled exclusively. As a tribute, the best Blaufränkisch of each vintage is called "Senoir" after him. In 2005 the winery was awarded the Architecture Prize of the Burgenland. Today the estate is run by Walter "Mike" Faulhammer and Karin Faulhammer-Körper, who are supported by their son Markus. The vineyards cover 12 hectares, 95% of which are planted with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Blauburger, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and 5% with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Gelber Muskateller and Chardonnay. Some of the vines are already over 60 years old.
