The "Wein- und Sektgut Schneider" is located in the municipality of Albersweiler (Südliche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. The traditional winery was founded in 1796. Today it is run by Rudolf Dentzer. The vineyards comprise vineyards in the single vineyard sites Latt (Albersweiler), Im Sonnenschein (Siebeldingen), Mandelberg (Birkweiler) and Münzberg (Godramstein). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Kerner, Bacchus, Gewürztraminer and Ortega, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Blauer Portugieser, Müllerrebe (Pinot Meunier) and Cabernet Dorsa. In years with favourable weather conditions, noble sweet wines such as Trockenbeerenauslesen are also produced. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.
