Schloss Fels

The winery is located in the municipality of Fels am Wagram in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wagram. SPAR Österreichische Warenhandels-AG bought the winery together with the associated 34 hectares of vineyards in 1986. The winery was completely rebuilt and renovated in 1987, expanded to its present size in 1996 and completely modernised and enlarged in 2004. Approximately 6.4 million litres of wine can be stored in the cellars. With over 85 hectares of vineyards, the Schloss Fels winery is one of the largest in Austria. The vineyards are located in the municipalities of Fels am Wagram in the Wagram wine-growing region and Rohrendorf in the Kremstal wine-growing region.
