single vineyard in the municipality of Gimmeldingen (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. The west-facing vineyards with a slope of 5 to 10% cover 30 hectares of vineyards on soils interspersed with clayey sand and loam. The varieties cultivated here include Riesling, Rieslaner, Scheurebe, Chardonnay, Dornfelder, Portugieser and Merlot. The Christmann Arnold, Müller-Catoir, Ohler Johann, Weik Bernd and Ziegler August wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
