The winery is located in the municipality of Reicholzheim (Tauberfranken area) in the German wine-growing region of Baden. It was founded in 1984 by Konrad and Monika Schlör, who until then had delivered their grapes to the local cooperative. The vineyards cover five hectares of vines in the Reicholzheim single vineyard First. They are planted with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Black Riesling and Dornfelder, as well as with the white wine varieties Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Kerner and Bacchus. The white wines are fermented cool. The quality criteria for the red wines are lowest yields, classic mash fermentation, malolactic fermentation and barrique ageing for up to 18 months. The winery is a member of the Tauber-Edition (TE) association and has been a member of the VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates) since the beginning of 2010.
