The vineyard is located in the Döblinger district of Grinzing in the wine-growing region Wien (capital of Austria). It was mentioned in a document in 1329 as "in dem Schenckenperge" and in 1355 in the tithe register of the monastery Klosterneuburg. The vineyard was classified as 1 ÖTW (Erste Lage of the Traditional Wine Estates of Austria) by the Winzervereinigung WienWein. The south-facing vineyard with a slope of 2 to 17 degrees at an altitude of 262 to 300 metres above sea level comprises over 5 hectares of vines. The soil is sandstone with calcareous quartz sandstones and minor marine deposits. Varieties of the Wiener Gemischter Satz are cultivated here. Shares in the vineyard are held by the wineries Fuhrgassl-Huber and Mayer am Pfarrplatz.
