single vineyard in the municipality of Esslingen (Remstal-Stuttgart area) in the German wine-growing region of Württemberg. The terraced vineyards, which face west-southwest to south-southeast and have slopes of 25 to 70%, cover 81 hectares of vineyards. The soils consist of sandstone with calcareous coloured marl with clayey tuber marl in the upper area. In the upper area there is a good water storage capacity. The Kusterer winery, for example, has a share in the site.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
