Schantlrebe

The white grape variety (also Schantltraube) is a new variety between Müller-Thurgau x Ruländer(Pinot Gris). The crossbreeding was done by Ing. David Schantl around 1976 at the Wine Institute Silberberg (Styria, Austria). It produces a fruity white wine. The variety is cultivated in Austria in small quantities.
