Schaefer Willi

Producer description of "Weingut Willi Schaefer"
The winery is located in the municipality of Bernkastel-Graach (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region of Mosel. It is owned by Willi & Christoph Schaefer. The vineyards cover three hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Domprobst and Himmelreich (Graach), as well as Sonnenuhr (Wehlen), which are exclusively planted with the Riesling variety. A large proportion of the wines are fermented and matured with natural yeasts in classic 1000-litre barrels. The winery is a member of the VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates).
