Scandinavia

In Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, which belong to this geographical collective term, viticulture exists, if at all, only in small quantities due to the excessively cold climate. Apart from Denmark, the other three countries have a very restrictive attitude towards alcoholic beverages, distribution is regulated by state monopoly and the products are burdened by high taxes.
