Sauvignon Sary

The white grape variety (breeding no. WE 70-267-14) is a new variety between Riesling x Sauvignon Blanc x Riesling. By the way, the two varieties Sauvignon Cita and Sauvignon Gryn were created with the same parents. The cross was made in 1970 at the State Teaching and Research Institute Weinsberg in Württemberg. The plant variety protection was granted in 2013. The medium ripening vine has a reduced risk of phylloxera due to its light foliage. It produces fruity white wines similar to Sauvignon Blanc.
