The white grape variety (also UD-55.098) is an interspecific new variety between Sauvignon Blanc x Kozma 20-3, containing genes of Vitis amurensis, Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in Italy in 2002 by the breeders Simone Diego Castellarin and Guido Cipriani. By the way, Sauvignon Crete was created with the same parents. The medium maturing vine is resistant to both types of mildew. No stock was reported in 2010 (Kym Anderson).
