The white grape variety is an interspecific new cross between Sauvignon Blanc x Kozma 20-3. Synonyms and breeding numbers are Early Sauvignon and UD-76.026. It contains genes from Vitis amurensis, Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 2003 in Italy by the breeders Simone Diego Castellarin, Guido Cipriani, Gabriele Di Gasparo, Michele Morgante and Enrico Peterlunger. The early-maturing vine is resistant to both powdery mildew and frost. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
