The white grape variety (cultivation no. WE 69-607-42) is a new variety between Sauvignon Blanc x Riesling. By the way, the two varieties Sauvignon Gryn and Sauvignon Sary were created with the same parents. The cross was made in 1969 at the State Teaching and Research Institute Weinsberg in Württemberg. The plant variety protection was granted in 2013. The medium to late-maturing vine produces fruity, strong white wines similar to Sauvignon Blanc with a pronounced citrus note.
