Santa Magdalena

The white grape variety originates from Spain. According to the latest DNA analyses carried out in 2021, it is a presumably natural cross between Planta Fina de Pedralba (Damaschino) x Legiruela (Prié). It must not be confused with Lairén (synonym Temprana Agosteña) or Tempranillo Blanco(mutation of Tempranillo) due to the synonyms or morphological similarities. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
