The white grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Mennavacca, Uva da Tavola and Zimavacca. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2005, it is genetically closely related to the San Antonio variety. However, the parentage is unknown. It is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
