The winery is located in the municipality of Nordheim (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The Müller family has been involved in winegrowing since the end of the 19th century. The current estate was built by the present owner Dorothea Rudloff-Müller. Since 1990, son Peter Rudloff has been responsible for the viniculture. The vineyards cover 4.5 hectares of vines in the single vineyards Kreuzberg and Vögelein (Nordheim), as well as Katzenkopf (Sommerach). They are 70% planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Bacchus and Gewürztraminer, and 30% with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Domina, Cabernet Dorio, Cabernet Dorsa and Zweigelt. Natural viticulture is practised. The wines are racked and fermented slowly. The simpler wines are matured in stainless steel, the best in barrique. They are marketed in four lines: Gute Traube (litres with screw tops), Junge Triebe (youthful, sparkling), Klassische Beere (Franconian line) and Edle Rebe (top qualities). Fine brandies and liqueurs are also produced.
