The winery is located in the municipality of Leutschach in the Austrian wine-growing region of South Styria. A Buschenschank is attached. The winery, which has been in the family since 1880, is run by Anton and Margit Rothschädl, who are assisted by their son Thomas (a graduate of the viticultural college) Silberberg) supports them. The vineyards in the Kreuzberg and Trautenburg sites are planted with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gelber Muskateller and Morillon, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt and Blauer Wildbacher. Natural, environmentally friendly viticulture is consistently practised. Depending on the type of wine, the wines are matured in steel tanks or in barriques.
