Rossese Bianco di San Biagio

The white grape variety (also Rossese Bianco) originates from Italy. The parentage is unknown. It must not be confused with the Grillo variety (Rossese Bianco) or any of the other four different white Rossese varieties, despite seemingly suggestive synonyms. It is also not a colour mutation of the red variety Rossese di Dolceacqua (synonym used in Liguria for the French variety Tibouren). It is grown in the municipalities of San Bagio della Cima (Imperia) and Soldano (Savona) in Liguria. However, no stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
