Rosina

There are two grape varieties with this name:

Rosina - Germany

The red grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Solaris x Muscat Bleu. Synonyms or breeding numbers are FR 500-90 R and Freiburg 500-90 R. It contains genes of Vitis amurensis, Vitis labrusca, Vitis lincecumii, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1990 by Norbert Becker (1937-2012) at the State Viticultural Institute in Freiburg (Baden-Württemberg). The fungus-resistant variety is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
