Rosacker

One of the Alsace (Haut-Rhin) sites classified as Grand Cru within the Alsace Grand Cru appellation. It was first mentioned in the 15th century. The vineyards cover 26 hectares of vineyards on calcareous marly-clay soil in the commune of Hunawihr. They are mainly planted with Riesling and Gewürztraminer varieties. Well-known producers are Mader, Fréderic Mallo, Mittnacht-Klack, CV Riebauvillé, Slipp-Mack and Trimbach.
