IGT area (country wines) for white, red and rosé wines in the Italian region or on the island of Sardinia. It covers three hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Castelsardo, Osilo, Sennori, Sorso and Valledoria in the province of Sassari. Varieties authorised in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be others. Dual varietal wines must be blended from 50 to 85% of the main grape variety and 15 to 50% of other varieties. Different for each wine type, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed, but no maturation periods.
