The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Villard Blanc x Gewürztraminer. It contains genes from Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed by Nicolae I. Guzun in Moldova. Cultivated areas in 2010 were in Moldova (2 ha) and Russia (255 ha).
