Rión

The white grape variety comes from Spain. The unknown, rare variety was raktivated by the well-known organic winery Albet i Noya in the north-eastern Spanish region of Penedès. The old vine was found in an abandoned vineyard in 1999 by winemaker Josep Maria Albet. It produces fresh, mineral white wines with a citrus flavour.
